At the end of 2024, we interviewed a key player in the Vegas hospitality scene, someone who has seen hundreds of thousands of dinner guests pass by - some of them with quite the fame. His name: Martin Fischer. 

"Until this day, I still remember exactly what James Bond ordered, I will never forget it".

In the interview, Martin tells fascinating stories of his career as chief waiter of Le Cirque, a premier French cuisine restaurant, with a fountain view. Not only has he served Vegas founders such as Steve and Elaine Wynn and "Mr." Kerkorian, but also none other than James Bond himself. Fischer also shares his passion for Las Vegas, a city which is so much more to him than his home. He sees great things coming for Las Vegas in the future. But he also embraces the past: "The Stardust was my favorite hotel, as my mother worked there, and it was just such a lovely place". Fischer has his photo in the Las Vegas Book, and therefore is a proud owner and ambassador of the project.
